For as long as I can remember I have had a fascination with art. As a child growing up in beautiful Jamaica I was exposed to a melting pot of rich artistic cultural experiences that fueled my passion and further ignited my creativity. For me artistic expression is both freeing and cathartic. Design just comes naturally to me. With the aid of a brush, pencil, tablet or even the click of a mouse, I have been able to refine my skills as a professional designer. I have a strong branding and print design background, additionally, I must say lately my experience in web design including UI/UX, gets my adrenaline going. At the end of the day I am just an ordinary guy who loves to do extraordinary things with art while working with a talented team.
I love learning about different cultures as it pertains to art and visual communication, especially while travelling. This passion has led me to visit many countries where I have developed a greater appreciation for my skillset as well as other artists alike. Currently I am based in Houston, Texas, where I continue my journey as a Graphic Designer/Artist/Illustrator constantly challenging and pushing myself to the limits of what powerful design can do as a strategic and creative resource.
As a perfectionist I feel it is not only my duty to provide nothing less than the best for my clients, but to also add measurable value. My aim is to deliver great design (print/digital) that drives conversion and encourages user engagement.
I take a very hands on approach and after an initial kick off meeting with my client, extensive research is done to ensure that all key factors influencing the success of the project are fully incorporated. This is achieved by leverageing my knowledgebase and expertise to create, build, direct and manage the project from start to finish.
Adherence to best practices is the key to a good start but for an unequivocally stunning piece of work, I raise the bar by applying my proven skills directly to the core of your design challenges. To solve my clients needs I combine talent with vision. Dedication is at the heart of each project. Drafts are sent for review and always in sync with the clients goals during the development process.
After a meiculous quality check and a thorough proofing protocol a final meeting is scheduled with the client to demonstrate, train where necessary and deliver the final product. Not only is my client's satisfaction important to me but I believe in building a strong relationship to help with their growing business future needs.
